Hey… YOU! Yea, you with the face?!… Wassup? Lol. welcome back to The Bronx’s favorite blog. Hope ya’ll all doing well. It’s a beautiful day in The Bronx, and I hope its just as nice where YOU are. As always the Boyz From The Bronx have been realll busy. Taking over the rap game ain’t easy, but hey… somebody’s gotta do it. Lol. This past weekend they made several appearances, and performances. One of those being a showcase/competition at The Bronx’s own “Sofa Lounge”. Right in our backyard. The event was hosted by NY radio personality Monse, and was sponsored by rapper Joell Ortiz’s record label “Block Royal”. Big shouts to them, and to Joell who was in the building himself. The fella’s rocked the crowd, performing they’re smash single “In Da Air” & other hot song “Knocked Out”. In the end, the group came in 3rd place out of 20 in the competition. And got crazyyy love from, the judges, the crowd, & everyone in attendance. Don’t believe me? Ok fine… see for yourself by checking out our myspace page! Link below!

What’s good bloggers & bloggettes? Welcome back to the best blog in The Bronx! (Which still remains nameless, because ya’ll haven’t NAMED it yet? -_- C’mon, send in those names ppl!) No idea what I’m talking about? Tsk Tsk Tsk. Hmmmm apparently SOMEONE hasn’t been reading the blogs. Lol, anyway I know why you came here, so 1st off let me get you up to speed. Brothers Xperiencing Life is the hottest thing since the sun (get it?). Three brothers that have come together to form hip-hops “Voltron”, and are trying to make a difference in music as we know it today. Joe Dirt, Persevere, & Buddy Mylez (all household names by now, I’m sure) are next up. They’re the new wave, & the next generation. ‘Whether the game likes it or not…

This past weekend was a busy one for the fella’s. Friday afternoon, they went to “Smitty’s” in The Bronx for an interview with the one and only Benny Negro (remember Benny from the Arizzma Radio show?). This time, the interview was for nychiphoptv.com. Benny & his crew, Chrissy, Ms. M, & Natasha Foxx interviewed the group about they’re music, they’re inspiration, and they’re future. Then they all free-styled and killed it of course. Shouts out to the other guests on the show, Audi Rob, & G Mims. As well as one of the pioneers of hip-hop, Kool Dj Red Alert, who the group was honored to meet and converse with. In all it was a dope evening. You can catch all the footage of the show on nychiphoptv.com right now. On the Friday March 27th, 2009 show.
The next night the group was back at Smitty’s again. This time to do what they do best. Rip the stage. Benny Negro invited them back to perform and perform they did. They shut the show down with they’re hit single ‘In Da Air” and the crowd loved it. We wanna send one more shout out to the homey Benny Negro for all the support. Don’t forget to check out nychiphoptv.com to see the footage, and check out everything they got going on over there. We’ll catch u next time… PEACE!
